I find it hard to believe and flat-out ridiculous that the world has come to this, but of course there has to be a disclaimer. We gotta have the legalese. My whole life I have learned and benefited from the writings and experiences of others and I have always found it humorous to note the paragraph in the front of a book stating that the expertise shared by the author is not to be taken seriously. It is not really advice...it is merely for educational or entertainment purposes; and if you want any REAL advice you are encouraged to seek the services of a competent professional. Imagine—a person supposed to be protected by laws of “free speech” must tie a disclaimer to his words, thoughts, and opinions…and STILL cross their fingers and hope they are not buried by a barrage of frivolous lawsuits.
